This villa complex is located in the south of Bali, on the hill Bukit Ungasan, which is connected to the main island by a narrow, flat strip of sand. A fantastic coastline, limestone caves, temples built almost breakneck on the rocks and, in the southeast, a magnificent view of the crystal blue water around the Bukit await guests at this dreamlike vacation destination. Next to the villa complex is a traditional Balinese temple, which is spiritually connected to an auspicious cave temple at the foot of the cliffs. The private beach at the foot of the cliffs is easily accessible. It’s about 24 km to Bali International Airport (Ngurah Rai). Opened in 2008, the resort offers 40 villas and sits atop the bukit. The spacious 1, 2, 3 or 4 bedroom pool villas include 2 or 3 private pavilions surrounding the stunning private pool in the courtyard. Guests can enjoy sunset cocktails and canapés at ‘Uluwatu’. A reception area, 24h reception, hotel safe, currency exchange, restaurant, Internet access and room and laundry services (the latter for a fee) are among the resort’s facilities. Parking facilities are available for guests’ cars. Each bedroom has an en suite bathroom and offers fantastic views of the Indian Ocean. All villas offer a private barbecue area. The living pavilion is open plan and offers modern amenities and facilities such as a lounge, dining area and fully equipped SMEG kitchen.
